The board met Sept 24th. The Gala raised a net of $8,170.89. The board decided to allocate $4000 of this to campaigns and it has been disbursed to candidates running in Snohomish County. Next year’s Gala theme will be Women’s suffrage.

The county raised $800 from the fair. Due to the county losing LD support for being at the fair, they may forego it in the future and focus on smaller, more Democratic friendly events going forward like farmers markets and festivals.

There will be a special meeting Nov 2nd at the Labor Temple at 10am. It is a meeting to revise the county by-laws. Only PCOs can vote on the changes, but all members are welcome. The Rising Awards will also be disbursed at this time. Nominations for the awards are now open.

At the Oct 5th General Meeting the body endorsed Kristina Melnichenko – Mukilteo City Council and April Berg – Everett School Board
