Reorganization 21st LD
Our first job as elected PCOs is to meet to kick-start our local Democratic party. This is called re-organization or more simply “reorg”. Every two years, the Democratic party of each legislative district and county in Washington state holds a meeting during the month of December or January to decide as a group how their organization will function and to elect officers to serve the organization in a number of important roles. This year, our “reorg meeting” will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, December 5th at Mukilteo City Hall.
Make sure to check out our Bylaws at the bottom of the Documents page and check out our posts on the home page in the week leading up to reorg for more information on what it is and how out meetings works. We’ll post information on our bylaws and also post information on the officer positions that are available for members to run for.
Hope to see you all there!
Important Note: To ensure fair representation of each precinct, at reorg our state party rules limit voting on bylaws and officer elections to elected PCOs only.
